Gettin shit together and moving to a bigger place. A place where I can have some good solid deskspace and arrange a permanent studio. Also, I've ripped all my memory from my dead computers and put them on this mainframe. No I have every Reason file and a good portion of my fruityloops files.
Stay posted.

It really isn't easy living in a 2 bedroom apartment with me, my girlfriend, and a 1 year old son. There is no place to set up a studio.
Earlier this year when I got back into Newgrounds, I had half of my living room dedicated to my computers, instruments, vinyl collection, and bookshelf (my "office"). However, with a growing kid, it seems like there isn't a large enough cage (I used to have a 3 foot tall one set up), or enough room to have a permanent operation in place.
But, today I have taken it upon myself to make my first portable beat studio. I took an old wheeled television cart, put my turntable and mixer on top, the computer mainframe and selected records on the bottom, with the flatscreen monitor floating on a side table. All of it I can neatly pack away and wheel into the closet when the room needs to be babyproof, and easy to wheel out and set-up just by plugging a powerstrip into the wall. The keyboard I keep out 24/7 so my little homie can jam out and is easy to plug into the computer via USB/MIDI cable.
As of today, I produce strictly in Reason 4. I don't have Acid Pro or even Audacity anymore, I record any sample onto the generic Windows "Sound Recorder" and import it into my tracks, where I line up the wave. This is a terrible way to produce scratch and cut tracks, or good turntable samples of any kind. I have been experimenting with it all today, and some tracks sound decent, but I need a more efficient way of doing business.
Once I get a Acid Pro style program, or possibly Reason 5 (with the coveted LIVE SAMPLING), then I will begin to post fresh new beats. (Hopefully before the New Years).
Until then, KEEP POSTED AND KEEP VOTING!

... I'm not selling any beats. I'm okay with people using them on flash vids here on NG and possibly rapping on them for fun here on NG, but no where else...
